Mechnology worked with title designer Dan Perri to create the opening for this drama depicting how gambling addiction brings the stories of three otherwise unconnected people together, as it destroys each of their lives.

The title sequence covers two scenes of the film, beginning with a body washing to shore under a dark pier. For this section, vertical wipes and slow dissolves mimic the rythmic ocean waves as they meet the sand.

The 2nd half of the sequence establishes Kim Basinger's character a she desperately continues to play a slot machine. Here, the titles are swiftly revealed and concealed by the games and inhabitants of the casino.
